What I Did:
Monday, I went to a local evening silent book club - I wanna thank everyone who previously mentioned using an e-reader at this silent book club because the place has low lighting, made things much better for me and my eyeballs. Wednesday, I took my weekly trip to the library. Saturday and Sunday, I am going to read and rest as one last quiet weekend before the holidays begin with Thanksgiving next week.
What I Read:
Big reading week for me. I finished a reread of Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid because I am very excited about the TV adaptation that is coming out in a couple of weeks - it has been announced that it is being brought to the US through HBO Max so that is super exciting. I finished an ARC of Dreaming of a Cowboy Christmas by Ann Einerson (3.5 Stars). I also finished Mate by Ali Hazelwood (4 Stars) - I actually liked this one more than Bride, Chilled and Thrilled by Cleo White (3 Stars), an ARC of Longing for the Minotaur by Lyonne Riley (3 Stars), Ghosts of Grady by JL Hyde (3 Stars) and Angelica and The Bear Prince by Trung Le Nguyen (3.5 Stars).
What I Checked Out From The Library:
I checked out even more Holiday reads from the library. I probably now have WAY more books that I will need for The 13th Annual Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon - a holiday readathon hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer but I like having options.
- Angelica and The Bear Prince by Trung Le Nguyen.
- Good Spirits by B.K. Borison
- He Sees You When You're Sleeping by Alta Hensley.
None.
Reading Goals Update:

I got carried away by borrowing holiday reads for the Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon, too, but I think it's okay. It's always better to have too many books rather than too few.
ReplyDeleteGood Spirits Is on my Christmas wishlist, so are Bride and Mate.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy reading week
I am also participating in HoHoHo RAT! I haven't lined up my holiday reads yet. Gonna work on that soon lol.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try to get some freebie e-books read for HoHoHo RAT. We'll see. Hope you have a good week!
