November 21: End-of-Year Reading Goals?

Prompts: What books do you want to read before the end of the year? Are there any new releases you’re still looking forward to? What goals did you set at the beginning of the year? Have you changed or added to those goals?

I don't have too many books left that I want to read by the end of the year - I am honestly a big mood reader so we will see where my mood takes me. Right now, I have a focus on winter/holiday themed books - last year I read 11 Holiday themed, so I am shooting for 12 this year. This is terrible of me to admit but I don't remember what I originally set my 2025 reading goal for. I blew past all of my own expectations for the year by June, so I bumped my goal up to 175 and then in like September I bumped it again to 200 - I am currently super close to hitting that. Knowing those numbers, I imagine that my original goal for the year was 165 but I am not confident in that number - not that it really matters.

  1. 200 is amazing! I think the most I've read in any year was around 165 or 170 books or something like that and my mind was already blown that I could manage to accomplish that 😂 I hope you manage to reach the 200 mark and that you enjoy the books you read to do that. Thanks for joining LTB this week!
