What I Did:
A thankfully peaceful week for me - huge thanks for the kind words I got on last Sunday's post, I haven't had the brain power to reply to comments. Tuesday, I worked on building a bookshelf to replace one that collapsed on me back in February - I am looking forward to having my book room organized again. Wednesday, my neighborhood flooded so badly that I had to call into work but that was honestly fine by me because I got to spend the day in bed reading. Thursday, I did my grocery shopping for the week. Saturday, I went to a benefit lunch for my brother's coworker and then went to a local bookish market. Sunday, I am going out for breakfast with a friend I haven't seen in a while so I am very excited for that.
What I Read:
I finished Married To The Alien Mountain Man by Ursa Dax (3.75 stars), Second Act Romance by Julie Soto (3 Stars), Fall or Fly by Sophie Snow (3 Stars), Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke (3 Stars) and Lovely Recipe by Myra Rose Nino (3 Stars). I also have been reading Even Though I Knew The End by C.L. Polk and I started an ARC of Among Her Bones by Kate Serine.
What I Checked Out From The Library:
- Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman
- Bluebird Gold by Deveny Perry
- The Tea Dragon Festival by K. O'Neill
- The Ending Writes Itself by Evelyn Clarke
Books Added To My Collection:
- The One Bed Rule by Rachel LaBerge
- The Abdominal Snowman by Lana Kole and Zoe Abrams
- Behind The Bench by Jillian Arly
- Speak With The Dead by E.C. Taylor
Last week on the blog:
This week on the blog - subject to change:

Glad you weren't caught up in the flooding - it seems you folks are having all sorts of odd weather. Some seem to be getting far too much rain and others not enough. I hope your breakfast with your friend was lots of fun and that that coming week is a good one for you:).
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week as well!
DeleteI've found some good books at the library recently and wanted to return some and borrow some, but it's Sunday! And almost all t he libraries here are closed1
ReplyDeleteHopefully you get to go to the library soon!
DeleteGlad you had a more peaceful week! Hope you had a good day off work reading -- sometimes I wish I didn't work from home anyway, ahaha.

ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYour neighborhood flooded? I hope everything is ok! But if you got to stay home and read, that's a good thing. Have a great week😁
ReplyDeleteYeah, the neighborhood is shaped like a bowl and only has one way out which flooded up to the bottom of cars.
DeleteSorry to hear about the flooding but at least you got a day to read in bed! Hope you love Dungeon Crawler Carl as much as I did!
