Sunday Post/Salon #19

The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead. Join in weekly, bi-weekly or for a monthly wrap up.

The Sunday Salon (hosted by ReaderBuzz) is a place to link up and share what we have been doing during the week. It's a great opportunity to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there.

What I Did:

It's been a very chilly week where I live and I honestly haven't been up for doing a whole lot. Thursday, I took my weekly trip to the library. Friday, I had dinner with some of my siblings which is always a fun time. Saturday, I went to my works holiday party - it's a fancy one where we all dress up so it's always fun to go. Sunday, I plan to rest and read.

What I Read:

Not my best reading week. I finished A Pack for Winter by Eliana Lee. I started You're A Mean One, Matthew Prince by Timothy Janovsky, Lovelight Farms by BK Borison and an ARC of Fallen by Ashley Warren.

What I Checked Out From The Library:

A Home For The Holidays by Taylor Hahn.

Books I Bought:

My Book of the Month Copy of Dark Sisters by Kristi DeMeester came in the mail.

Reading Goals Update:

Last week on the blog:

This week on the blog - subject to change:

  • The Mate Review
  • Top Ten Tuesday: Snowy Settings
  • Down The TBR Hole

Comments

  1. It's been cold here, and we have not felt like getting out much.

I miss the Book of the Month Club. I'd planned to buy something each month instead of subscribing to the club, but I haven't done it.

  2. It's also been cold here, which is early - normally it doesn't get this cold until mid-January. I feel like a slug, too.

  3. It’s been too hot here for me to want to leave the house :)

Wishing you a happy reading week

  4. It is also really cold here as well! They keep promising some warmer days, and they show up for one day and then it drops again. Looks like you are doing okay on your books even with a slower week. Sorry I'm late getting back to comment!
