Review: The Mate by Abigail Owen

My Review:

The Mate by Abigail Owen gives us Dragon Shifters, Fated Mates and Second Chances - all things that I absolutely love. In a world where Dragon Shifters die if they choose the wrong mate, Maddie's life has been turned upside down. Fallon does not wish to participate in the mating council's games until he discovers that Maddie is the newly found Dragon Shifter. Things are messy as Maddie s upset with Fallon due to how things previously ended between them - confusion I shared with her because some how they worked together and kissed without him ever realizing that she was a shifter or his mate. I liked that she made him work for it instead of instantly accepting him as her mate. I liked the world a lot and the way that it set up the rest of the series - Abigail Owen really has me ready to jump into the next book.

Synopsis:
