What I Did:
Monday, I went to a silent book club to get out of the house for a couple hours. Wednesday, I had to do some yardwork and then I had a meeting about the upcoming Coastal Magic Convention season - super excited to be returning as a featured blogger. Thursday, I took my weekly trip to my local library and then I hit up a few little free libraries to unhaul some books. Saturday, I went to a surprise party for my stepbrother's birthday.
What I Read:
I finished Death To Valentines Day by Catherine Cowles. I worked on ARCs of We Could Be Anyone by Anna-Marie McLemore and the Being Aro anthology edited by Madeline Dyer. I also started Dom Com by Adriana Anders.
What I Checked Out From The Library:
- Nothing caught my eye while I was there and there were no holds waiting for me
Books Added To My Collection:
- Summer of 99 by JL Hyde
- An Inquiry Into Love and Death by Simone St. James
- Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute by Talia Hibbert - found an ARC of this one in a LFL!
Reading Goals/Challenges Update:
Last week on the blog:
This week on the blog - subject to change:

DeleteMy friend keeps wanting to hold a Silent Book Club event at her book hub, but we can't seem to get our times coordinated. I wish there was one nearby! I hate it when nothing resonates with me at the library.

ReplyDeleteWhat on earth is a silent book club? They don't let you talk? Even if you have something really profound to say? Funny.
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Salon post: https://headfullofbooks.blogspot.com/2026/05/sunday-salon-may-24th.html
I’ve been contemplating the idea of starting a silent book club but finding venues will probably be tough in my small town.
ReplyDeleteI guess a LFL is a good place for unwanted ARCs
Thanks for sharing your week
