What I Did:

Tuesday, I was supposed to have DnD for the first time in ages but that got cancelled due to our DM having to work late. Wednesday, I took my weekly trip to the library for the first time in like 3 weeks due to the holidays. Thursday, I had a Coastal Magic author chat which was a lot of fun. Friday, I had dinner with some friends and co-workers.

What I Read:

Had a pretty good reading week. I finished This Place Kills Me by Nicole Goux & Mariko Tamaki, Warrior by Nicole Blanchard, Valor by Nicole Blanchard, an ARC of Until Death by Nicole Blanchard and  A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna. I started Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb - was hoping to read it in time for a local book club at the library on Saturday but I didn't get the hold from the library until Wednesday, so I didn't finish in time.

What I Checked Out From The Library:

Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb

The Dire Days of Willowweep Manor by Shaenon Garrity

In The Weeds by B.K. Borison

Marrow by Samantha Browning Shea

We Could Be Magic by Marrissa Meyer

Books I Bought:

None - I am putting myself on a book buying ban for the month of January.

Reading Goals/Challenges Update:

Reading Goal: 8/185

Comments

  1. Our library was closed to requests for a couple of months, and I have been suffering.

I am very curious about A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping.

  2. Sorry about the game. I played The Betrayal at Baldurs Gate with my kids this past week which was fun. I (the monk) killed the traitor (a sorcerer) but died before I could finish the task.

Wishing you a happy reading week
