The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead. Join in weekly, bi-weekly or for a monthly wrap up.

The Sunday Salon (hosted by ReaderBuzz) is a place to link up and share what we have been doing during the week. It's a great opportunity to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there.

What I Did:

I worked Monday through Wednesday and then was on PTO Thursday and Friday. Monday, I had a Coastal Magic Author chat which is always fun - I got to chat with and learn more about Lisa Kessler. Thursday, I took my weekly trip to the library and then got my grocery shopping done. Friday, I read and did some cleaning around my home. Saturday, I went to my local libraries 3rd annual Local Author Expo and then went to a friends for a very over due Dungeons and Dragons session. Sunday, I am having a Novella Day where I am going to challenge myself to read as many novellas as I can - I saw someone on Tiktok do it and thought it would be fun. I have 5 picked out and I am hoping to get through at least 3 of them. I know that in the afternoon, I will be spending part of the day at a Silent Book Club.

What I Read:

Started my week with two novellas - The Mate by Abigail Owen and Prince of Beasts by Lyonne Riley. I then finished Secrets of Grady by JL Hyde and Bitter Heat by Leta Blake. I also started We Are All Guilty Here by Karin Slaughter.

What I Checked Out From The Library:

All of my library holds came in at once so I left with quite the haul this week. The Dead & Breakfast by Kat Hillis. The Devil She Knows by Alexandria Bellefleur. Ghosts of Grady by JL Hyde. If It Makes You Happy by Julie Olivia. Well, Actually by Mazey Eddings. Willing Prey by Allie Oleander.

Books I Bought:

At the local author expo, I bought The Blood Demon's Collar and The Changeling's Faerie Prince - both by K.D. Ellis.

  5. I'm wondering what Coastal Magic Authors are? You are doing so well on your goals. Keep it up!

  6. Some people read nothing but novellas for all of November. One year I did Novella November and Nonfiction November but it was honestly too much for me.

You are doing great on your goals!
