Down The TBR Hole #13

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by Lost in a Story, but she has permitted I’m Into Books to adopt it since she is no longer blogging. I always see Confessions of a YA Reader do this and I have been wanting to give it a shot myself as my Goodreads to-read shelf has 659 books on it - we are on page 4 of the list now so we are making progress. I like to go with 10 books.

It works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go
This weeks books:
  • Dark Burning by K.D. Miller
  • At Sea by Emma Fedor
  • Before the Devil Knows You're Here by Autumn Krause
  • Crashing the Net by Samantha Wayland
  • Between the Devil and the Sea by Chani Lynn Feener
  • How Not to Date a Demon by Lana Kole
  • Demon's Captive Mate by Sera Bishop
  • Only a Monster by Vanessa Len
  • The Girls I've Been by Tess Sharpe
  • The Shadow and the Draw by RD Baker
Keeping:
5/10
New Total: 654

  1. I've been aware of this meme for a while and although I don't officially participate, I love that it makes you look harder at your TBR and what you want to keep on there. I do periodically sort through mine on GR and remove books that I've had there for years, especially since my reading preferences have changed from five years ago!
