What I Did:
I had another quiet week, the shift to fall has had my energy levels low so I mostly worked during the day and rested in the evenings. Treated myself to a trip to a local bookstore and Michaels on Thursday. Saturday, I went to a local "bookish" market. Sunday, I think I am just going to read and do some cleaning around the house.
What I Read:
Had a good reading week. I finished Night Watcher by Daphne Woolsoncroft (gave it 3.5 stars) and I finished an ARC of Spicy or Sweet by Sophie Snow (3 stars). I started and finished Must Love Moss & Moonshine by Maisy Magill (3 stars) and Out of Sight by Cleo White (3.5 stars). I started Chasing The Wild by Elliott Rose.
What I Checked Out From The Library:
Chasing The Wild by Elliott Rose, Grady Lake by J.L. Hyde. Mate by Ali Hazelwood.
Books I Bought:
After reading and loving The Knight and The Moth earlier this year, I have been meaning to read more Rachel Gillig and when I saw these special editions of her duology, I knew I wanted to buy them.
At the local bookish market, I got Your Secret To Keep and When The Snow Settles, both by Rachel Laberge.
Reading Goals Update:
Now that I have passed 165 books read, 2025 is official my best reading year ever. Wondering if I am going to be able to keep up this pace and hit 200 - my original goal for the year was just 140 and as of now, I am 8 books ahead of schedule for 200.
Last week on the blog:
Review: Kings Of The Mountain by Morgan Brice
Q3 Recap/Favorites
ARC Review: Spicy or Sweet by Sophie Snow
