Monday Mood Meme: Sequels

Monday Moods is a weekly bookish meme created and hosted by Unwrapping Words. The premise is simple: every week, there’s a new ‘mood’, ranging from tropes to genres or actual moods (happy, sad, etc).

August 25th: Sequels

I decided that I was in the mood to share sequels that I liked even more than the first book. Sequels can be tough especially when following up an awesome start to the series but these authors all nailed it (I am including one that is technically an interconnected standalone but I stand by it being a sequel that is better than the first book)

    Hmmm... I wonder if there are better than the first books for me. I'm certain there are, but I don't know how to track that down without a lengthy look at my Goodreads.

      I made this list by having a long look at my bookshelves lol - it took a good amount of time.

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by  Lost in a Story , but she has permitted  I’m Into Books  to adopt it since she is no longer blogging. I always see  Confessions of a YA Reader  do this and I have been wanting to give it a shot myself as my Goodreads to-read shelf has 672 books on it. It works like this: Go to your goodreads to-read shelf. Order on ascending date added. Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
