Review: Toxic by Nicole Blanchard
I don't know what Nicole Blanchard put into this book but it's addicting. I highly recommend checking out to the trigger warnings before reading though. I liked the forbidden aspect of this a lot which is what made it so addicting to me. Tessa is a nurse at a prison and Gracin is an inmate there so absolutely nothing should be developing between them, but the tension was so good. It even gets kicked up a notch with her husband being the warden of the prison they are both at. Another reason that I really liked this book is that last year I read Pen Pal by JT Gessinger which says it is about a woman become pen pals with a dangerous former inmate and I won't give too much information about the plot but that's not what it ends up being about so this book gave me what Pen Pal failed to give me.
