What I Did:
Had a pretty quiet week - I actually had two sets of plans get cancelled. Thursday, I took my weekly trip to the library and then played Baldur's Gate 3 with a couple of friends. Friday, I did some shopping - mostly for journal supplies as I have joined a Sisterhood of The Traveling Journal group (if you don't know or haven't seen any videos, this is where you set up an interactive journal and then ship it around to others in the group and everyone adds their own touch to the journal). Saturday, I went to an aspiring author panel at my local library - it was on Overcoming Self-Doubt & Finding the Confidence to Write Your First Book - I have a WIP novel and a poetry collection that I really would like to put more work into but I often doubt my abilities so I thought this panel would be good for me, it definitely got my brain working.
What I Read:
I finished Pieces by Meghan Hollie (3.25 Stars), Wed to the Barbarian by Keira Andrews (3.5 Stars), Accidentally Marrying the Prisoner by May Alder (2.75 Stars), The Barbarian's Vow by Keira Andrews (3 Stars), Of Salt and Gold by Avie Adams (3.5 Stars). I am also working on Compound Fracture by Andrew Joseph White and West of Forever by Corinne Michaels. I even had one DNF this week - Grey Dog by Eliott Gish.
What I Checked Out From The Library:
- Shark Heart by Emily Habeck
- The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood - I DNF'd this back when it came out but with the movie adaption coming out this fall, I decided I wanted to give it another shot
- Born of Blood and Ash by Jennifer L Armentrout
- Memorials by Richard Chizmar

The traveling journal thing sounds so cool! I totally think you should work on both books! I'd buy them :)
