What I Did:
I am so tired of winter. Tuesday, I went and voted in my local primaries and then took myself out for dinner as a reward. Wednesday, I took my weekly library trip. Friday, I had dinner with friends and got to chat about books irl with a new friend - we are actually doing a buddy read together and I am very excited.
What I Read:
I finished At Whit's End by Bailey Hannah (3.5 Stars), Until The Clock Strikes Midnight by Alechia Dow (3 Stars) and Bred by the Gargoyle by Lyonne Riley (3 Stars). I have been working on and really enjoying 8 Keys to Healing, Managing, and Preventing Burnout by Morgan Johnson. I also started The Wild Card by Stephanie Archer as part of the above-mentioned buddy read.
What I Checked Out From The Library:
The hold button on my library's site probably hates to see me coming. This week, I had Blacktop Wasteland by SA Cosby, Garlic & The Vampire by Bree Paulsen, Sensory: Life On The Spectrum An Autistic Anthology and We Should All Be Birds by Brian Buckbee waiting for me.
Books Added To My Collection:
Allurial seduced me with their pretty edition of The Lies That Summon The Night by Tessonja Odette.

ReplyDeleteHehe, gotta love libraries. And hey, using them helps them continue existing, so I'm sure they're glad really!
ReplyDeleteI think this may be the coldest winter we've had since I moved here 25 years ago. I'm so ready to be done with winter. Good think Coastal Magic is only 12 days away!
