Sunday #25

The Sunday Post is a blog news meme hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on your blog for the week ahead. Join in weekly, bi-weekly or for a monthly wrap up.

The Sunday Salon (hosted by ReaderBuzz) is a place to link up and share what we have been doing during the week. It's a great opportunity to visit other blogs and join in the conversations going on there.

What I Did:

Tuesday, I did my grocery shopping and then played a video game with a few friends. Wednesday, I took my weekly trip to the library. Friday, I had drinks after work with some friends and coworkers. Saturday, I had dinner with 2 of my younger siblings and then we went to a short film at the planetarium. Sunday will be for cleaning and reading.

What I Read:

Honestly, a pretty average reading week. Started the week with The Dire Days of Willowweep Manor (3 Stars), I then read An Enchanted Knight by Hildie McQueen (3 Stars) and Face Off by Chelsea Curto (3 Stars). I have also been working on the Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb.

At Whit's End by Bailey Hannah

Dogsred by Satoru Noda

The Sunshine Man by Emma Stonex

Books I Bought:

None - I am putting myself on a book buying ban for the month of January.

  1. Hope you're having a good weekend reading-wise! Are you enjoying Assassin's Apprentice? I adored it when I first read it, but I think it'd be a tough reread, both because I know what happens and because certain things would annoy me more. (Not bad writing, I mean, but like... about the characters.)

  4. OH, was the film a science film or fictional story? I've only seen "star" programs at planetariums.
