Top Ten Tuesday: Sapphire Book Covers

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

The September 2nd, topic for Top Ten Tuesday is jobs with Occupations in the title but despite my best efforts, I could not find 10 books that I would like to list so I decided to go rogue for the week. 

I recently discovered Books Are The New Black's Birthstone Book Covers series and knew that I wanted to participate in September as I am a September baby and thanks to my grandma who was also born in September, I have always had a love for my birthstone - Sapphire.

    Sapphire is a lovely colour. My birthstone is green peridot. It is not my first choice of colour!

    Pretty covers. In the past year I read two books with dark blue (ish) covers: Time Loops and Meet Cutes by Jackie Lau and Archangel's Ascension by Nalini Singh.

    I like sapphire as well. So pretty! I was born in December, so mine is garnet.

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by  Lost in a Story , but she has permitted  I’m Into Books  to adopt it since she is no longer blogging. I always see  Confessions of a YA Reader  do this and I have been wanting to give it a shot myself as my Goodreads to-read shelf has 672 books on it. It works like this: Go to your goodreads to-read shelf. Order on ascending date added. Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
