Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Am Excited To Read This Fall

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

August 19th: This weeks topic is supposed to be books with a high page count but I couldn't find 10 books that I either have read or want to read that are super high page count so I decided to go with Books That I Am Excited To Read This Fall. Every fall, I switch to spooky/thriller, witchy and magical reads and every year, I am super excited for it. Have you read any of these? Do you have any spooky/magical/witchy recs for me? Let me know in the comments.

1. Someone You Can Build A Nest In by John Wiswell
2. The Man Made Of Smoke by Alex North
3. You Killed Me First by John Marrs
4. The Witch's Orchard by Archer Sullivan
5. Wild Reverence by Rebecca Ross
6. Cat Dragon by Samantha Birch
7. The Ghostwriter by Julie Clark
8. Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister
9. Magick by Eleri Drake
10. Bury Our Bones In The Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab

  1. I haven’t read any of these, but they sound good. I switch to spooky reads in September and October (and sometimes November, too). But I’m not quite sure what I’m reading those months yet.

  3. I always like lighter reads most the year, but fall does seem to be the ideal time of year to read mystery or thriller-like books! :) Thanks so much for visiting my list today!

  4. I usually avoid horror books so it is not surprising that I haven't heard of any of your books. Thanks for visiting my blog. I believe it is the first time we've interacted. I know it is the first time I've looked around on your blog.

  7. I'm happy to see someone else didn't use the high page count prompt this week :) I haven't read any of the books you listed, but they do look good. I especially like the Gillian McAllister book. That looks great.

  10. I've read THE GHOSTWRITER and WRONG PLACE WRONG TIME. I liked both of them, even though THE GHOSTWRITER is super depressing.

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

  12. Haha! I just read this on another blog and came up with some of the same books she had. I had in common with her: Fourth Wing (and the follow up), Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer, Lover at Last, and The Aeronaut’s Windlass (and its follow up). Plus one of the books in Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld was over 500 pages, too.
