June Recap

Happy July! June was a slower reading month for me as far as number of books finished but I still read 18 books, down from May's 20 and April's 21. How many books did you read in Junes? Let me know in the comments.

Reading Recap:

My Daring Texan by Dakota LaCoy | 3 Stars - I felt like the love story in this got the short end of the stick as the book was too busy introducing us to the small town and it's quirky cast of characters.

Rare Vigilance by M.A. Grant | Whitethorn Agency Book 1  | 4 Stars - I loved this slow burn vampire bodyguard romance!

A Requiem For Fallen Stars by Hazel S Wilkes | 3 Stars - While wonderful for a debut, this book didn't stick the landing when it came to the end.

Crooked Shadows by M.A. Grant | Whitethorn Agency Book 2 | 3.5 Stars - While I didn't enjoy it as much as book 1, I am still really liking this series and I can't wait to read the final book soon.

The Girl From The Sea by Molly Knox Ostertag | 4 Stars - This is a lovely graphic novel! Wish I had read it sooner.

Plan To Stay by CG Murray | 2 Stars - The MMC in this novel is the biggest most immature manchild...

My Orc Next Door by Veronika Kane | 3 Stars - a fun orc romance to start the summer

Problematic Summer Romance by Ali Hazelwood | 3 Stars - If you had told me last year that Ali Hazelwood was going to be my most read author of 2025, I would have laughed.

The New Deputy In Town by B.J. Daniels | 2.5 Stars - There was too much going on for me to enjoy this.

Mine by Clio Evans | 3 Stars - Will probably end up being one of my smuttiest reads of the year

The Orc's Fated Mate by Elizabeth Austin | 2 Stars - No Comment

First Time Caller by BK Borison | 3.5 Stars - I put this off for a while due to all the hype but I did end up really enjoying it and I am glad I finally picked it up

A Treachery of Swans by AB Poranek | 4 Stars - One of my most anticipated reads of the year!

Clara by Dahlia | 2.5 Stars | Judging myself for this one honestly - it was stuff your kindle day and curiosity got the cat

What Happens In Amsterdam by Rachel Lynn Solomon | 4 Stars - my favorite read of the month. I related a lot to the FMC as a woman in her late 20s that has no clue what she's doing with her life

More Than a Friend by Daisy Wren | 3 Stars - this novella had a lot going on

Love Beyond The Veil by Emerie Spark | 3 Stars - a love letter to online gaming and streaming

Bear With Me by Nicole Blanchard | 3 Stars - a fun shifter romance
