Book Review: Twins for the Rebel Cowboy by Sasha Summers
He's a good man, Annabeth.
A bad boy womanizer cowboy that works on cars for a living - he's essentially who Dean Winchester would have been if he hadn't been raised as a monster hunter. Amazing. 10/10.
Annabeth is a widow raising her son while working for her temporary elementary school principal position to become permanent. After Ryder saves her from being hit on by a creep at the bar, they hook up in his truck. This results in a pregnancy. Ryder has known Annabeth since they were in high school, being best friends with her and the man that ended up being her husband - he even always had feelings for her but never felt like he was good enough for her. He's determined to do right by her, being there for her, her son and the babies that she carries. Annabeth has walls up from the cards that life has dealt her and while I understood that, I just wanted her to let him in. I also wanted him to just talk to her, he kept thinking about how he was going to show her that he was committed to her but I just wanted him to tell her that he was committed.
This novel also had everything that there is to love about small town romances with it's meddling family and gossiping towns people. I was charmed by it all.
