Book Review: Possess Me! (I Want You To) by Fae Quin
Fae Quin's writing just keeps getting better and better. A huge thank you to Fae for giving me a chance to read an ARC of this novel. Possess Me! (I Want You To) delivers a story for those of us who grew up wanting more from Casper the Friendly Ghost.
The first of the two main characters is Luca, he feels like he is for those of us that are the eldest child & grew up with way too much on our shoulders. We meet him at a low point in his life but his creativity and outlook on life had me rooting for him the entire time. The way Fae describes emotions through Luca hit home for me, something that she has done before with Baxter in Let Your Hearts Be Light. Finding mental health rep resonates for me means so much. The second of the main characters is Prudence. After meeting Pru in Bite Me, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about him in this novel but in getting a deeper look inside his head and what he has been through, I was quickly able to fall in love with him as well. These two falling in love had me grinning at my phone, the way that they warmed up to each other and began supporting each other was amazing.
The spice! I am obsessed with the spice in this novel. From the first scene in the bathroom to the epilogue paint scene, Fae knocked it all out of the park, each spicy scene is better than the last.
