HoHoHoReadathon Wrap Up!
The 13th Annual Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon is a holiday readathon hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, November 26th through Wednesday, December 17th, 2025. During the event, participants will read or listen to as many holiday or winter reads as they can while taking part in challenges. Get your holiday & winter setting books and be prepared to have fun! Audiobooks, library books, ebooks, old books or new books — we don’t care. Don’t forget the hot chocolate!
I did one recap already but I wanted to do a final recap of what I read and how much of it was off of my original TBR.
My original Readathon TBR had 11 books on it and I managed to read 5.5 of them during the time of the readathon which is honestly pretty good for me - I am a big mood reader so it's hard for me to stick to one TBR or to plan out what I am going to read. This was also my first time participating in a readathon so it was tough for me to know how much I was going to get to.
The Books I finished are:
Good Spirits by BK Borison | 4 Stars | I mostly enjoyed this story. Harriet was super relatable and I really liked learning more about Nolan, ultimately it was the ending that kept me from giving this book 5 stars - I wanted more from the ending.
When The Snow Settles by Rachel Laberge | 3 Stars | While cute, this follow up novella felt unnecessary to me, especially the drama between the established couple.
A Pack For Winter by Eliana Lee | 3 Stars | I have read multiple why choose omegaverse where one of the guys doesn't click into place with the others, so it was super refreshing when this book did not go down that route. I really loved how the 2 established guys welcomed in the third, helping him and supporting him as they won over their girl.
Lovelight Farms by BK Borison | 4 Stars | I love this authors writing and the characters that she creates!
You're A Mean One, Matthew Prince | 3 Stars | Have you ever finished a romance and had the thought of: "This couple wouldn't last together" Because that was me with this book.
Tinsel & Tentacles by Kate McDarris | 3 Stars | A silly read honestly but I had fun reading it.
The Book I started by still need to finish:
The Nightmare Before Kissmas by Sara Raasch | I am about 30% of the way into this one and I look forward to finishing it before Christmas.
