What I Did:
What I Read:
I had a solo Novella Readathon last Sunday and I ended up finishing 3 Novellas during that time: The Unsolved Murder of Kevin Walsh by KJ Sweet (3 Stars), A Game of Hearts by Tigris Eden (3 Stars) and Rooting For Kiran by Meghan Monarch (3.5 Stars) - mini reviews coming soon. I also was in the mood for a graphic novel after that, so I picked up Dungeon Club #1: Roll Call (3 Stars). I started We Are All Guilty Here by Karin Slaughter last week and I am just under the halfway mark and I kind of feel like DNFing this one - I am just not enjoying it. I have also been working on Warrior Princess Assassin by Brigid Kemmerer.
What I Checked Out From The Library:
I had nothing to return so I skipped my weekly library trip.
There is a used bookstore in my town that I visit quite regularly and I can normally find pretty good books there but this week I struck gold (in my opinion at least). I found a copy of Soul Searching by Lyla Sage which I believe has been out for just over a month and I found signed special edition copies of the first 3 books in Clio Evan's Three Fates Mafia Series. It's funny how something as simple as finding books can make my week.

We have a few good used book stores that I donate to often. The prices of the nearest one are a bit high, but they seem popular enough.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteThat does sound like a lovely haul. Anytime I get a book, no matter where it is from, makes my day!
