What I Did:

Had another pretty chill week outside of work. Monday was a holiday so I got to stay home and read. Tuesday, I went to the library and then I had DnD and my character almost died - I got to do death saving rolls for the first time ever - luckily my Druid did not die but the parties Bard did. Wednesday and Thursday, I worked on some future posts and did some reading. Friday, I got my grocery shopping done. Saturday, I stayed home and got some cleaning done. Sunday, I had plans with my other DnD group but those got cancelled so I think I'm going to take some books and go Little Free Library hopping and then I am going to head to a Silent Bookclub. I am on PTO from work in the upcoming week so I am excited about that.

What I Read:

I finished 3 books this week. The Ghostwriter by Julie Clark was the first one - it's a mystery that had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The Matriarchs by Louanne Brickhouse & Jennifer Rea is a graphic novel that was super interesting. I finished Discontent by Beatriz Serrano - the book is a big mood if you have a boring office job like me. I have also been working on ARCs of Tusks & Saddles and Adversity - they are both western romances.

What I Checked Out From The Library:

There were three holds ready for me at the library this week. The Girl Who Fell Beneath The Sea, You Killed Me First and Direct Descendant.

Reading Goals Update:

Not much in the way of goals movement. I do finally have all the books planned out for the rest of my alphabet challenge so I know that I will complete that by the end of the year.

  2. It looks like you are moving quickly toward the completion of your yearly reading goals.

I want to go to another Silent Reading Club. Maybe I will this fall.

    1. I hope you do go to a silent reading club soon, there is something so lovely about sitting and reading with a group of other people.

  3. That's great that you have everything planned for your alphabet challenge! I think I am on track to finish most of my challenges this year, next year I will do less!

  4. Sounds like a fun/chill week. I am also planning out the rest of the year and have a few empty spots I'm leaving blank for some mood reading or need to grab something for a challenge.
