What I Did:
I purposely had a quieter week, work has had me feeling drained so outside of that, I wanted to do a whole lot of nothing. Saturday, I went to an indie bookstore in my state where Sloan Spencer was signing and then later in the evening, I had a video game night with a couple of friends. Sunday, I am planning on another quiet day, probably going to get some cleaning done and then I am going to be joining a Coastal Magic Reading Challenge Group Read Video Chat.
What I Read:
I finished Smolder by Tracy Solheim which was a quick read. I started and finished We Live Here Now by Sarah Pineborough which was a crazy time. I also started and finished Quests Aside by Brian Schirmer. I finished Roll For Romance by Lenora Woods and finished an audiobook for the second time ever in my life which was Drop, Cover and Hold On by Jasmine Guillory. I have also slowly been reading Heavenly Tyrant by Xiran Jay Zhao. Finally, I started an ARC of Adveristy by Ren Browne.

Let's Talk Bookish: Which Season Do You Do Your Best Read
Thanks for checking out my post. Hope you have a great week!
*chants* Zomromcom... LOL!
ReplyDeleteMy husband was traveling all week, and with my daughter back at school and my son working nights, I was alone for much of the week. Then on Friday, we packed up my son and he went back to school, too. I didn't do much reading but will probably get more in now that both kids are gone.
When I was looking at this post before I hit published, I knew I was forgetting something and now my copy of Zomromcom is side eyeing me for forgetting that it's my plan for Z. I hope everything went well with getting the kids back to school.
DeleteThe only book I've read with X in the title is the book by mystery writer Sue Grafton. I know there are a lot of X-Men books at my library. Good luck with X.
ReplyDeleteAnd enjoy your quiet day, especially the video chat!
We are trying to do less this weekend as well.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing so well with your reading challenges. The alphabet challenge is always the difficult one for me. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI thought the alphabet challenge would be harder for me to do but I ended up surprising myself with it. It's my first time doing it so I am chalking it up to beginners luck lol.
DeleteGlad you had a quiet week! I really need to get back into doing reading challenges again.
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Watch
Sounds fun. Though your idea of doing nothing is very different from mine lol
ReplyDeleteI love quiet weeks doing a whole lot of nothing! I love that you got lots of nothing done, except for reading, of course!
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice to spend a day decompressing after a taxing work week! Good luck finding books that'll fulfill your challenge!
