Down the TBR Hole #3

Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by Lost in a Story, but she has permitted I’m Into Books to adopt it since she is no longer blogging. I always see Confessions of a YA Reader do this and I have been wanting to give it a shot myself as my Goodreads to-read shelf has 672 books on it.

It works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go

Getting rid of 2 and keeping 3 seems to be the way things are going to go for me.

    Now, this does sound like a good method of clearing off the shelves of older books on the TBR. Good for you in clearing two from the shelf.

    I recently did this (updated my TBR list on Goodreads). The thing is there are a lot of books I want to read that I haven't listed yet!

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Am Excited To Read This Fall

Top Ten Tuesday was created by  The Broke and the Bookish  in June of 2010 and was moved to  That Artsy Reader Girl  in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
